COURSE CONTENT
You will study:
To use Dance e-jay software.
To undertake simple track composition.
To create, record and edit your own pieces of music.
To mix your own pieces of music.
To record your own tracks onto CD and onto your own website.
To analyse track compositions.
To recognise the strengths and weaknesses of your own and others’ track compositions.
ASSESSMENT
You will be required to:
Recall your knowledge and understanding within the area of Digital Music Composition
Knowledge, understanding and skills in the area of Child Care in the area of Digital Music Composition.
Analyse and evaluate your work and make judgements about your performance and where improvements can be made.
Assessment within this Occupational Studies unit is ongoing throughout the year.
The final moderation and assessment will take place at the end of year 11.
