COURSE CONTENT

 

You will study:

 

How to develop the structure and layout for a website, with emphasis on topics such as site management, navigation using a site map, creating links and using video and audio to enhance the website.

 

There are 3 sections:

 

Creating a basic website structure.

Inserting video and audio content.

Uploading, publishing and maintenance.

 

ASSESSMENT

 

You will be required to:

 

Recall your knowledge within the area of web design including the concept, services and structure of the Internet.

Knowledge, understanding and skills in the creation and uploading of World Wide Web pages using images and other media.

Analyse and evaluate your work and make judgements about your performance and where improvements can be made.

 

Assessment within this Occupational Studies unit is ongoing throughout the year.

The final moderation and assessment will take place at the end of year 11.
